In the frameworks of a new children’s project – literary- theatrical studio “Planet” there was held a holiday of seeing off Winter named “Generous Maslenitsa has arrived and has brought cheese and butter…” with a great success in Belinskiy central city library on the 18th of February, 2018. 

The children listened to an interesting narration about how Maslenitsa was celebrated in Slobozhanshchina, watched animated movies about the celebration of traditional folk Ukrainian holidays, and what is the most important is that they took part in a holiday – game “ Generous Maslenitsa has arrived and has brought cheese and butter…” that was prepared and held by personnel of the department of service of Belinskiy central city library. 

The manager of literary- theatrical studio "Planet", a famous Kharkiv’s poetess and writer Intaniya Siv prepared and held a cheerful quiz dedicated to an ancient ritual holiday which enjoyed both children and adults.  

Those present all together were taking part in a topical game, were reading poems and singing cheerful songs.  

Kids were unraveling complicated puzzles, revealing angry Marena which was later burnt outside with the help of all the people present. 

An then both adults and children were dancing around a bonfire, calling for Spring and were feeding themselves with blushed pancakes and fragrant uzvar. 

The co-workers of  Belinskiy central city library held an interesting excursion around the holes of the library, narrated about new books and literary – musical events, which will ne held in our library this year both to children and adults .

Both kids and adults were talking to the personnel of the library with a great pleasure, they were looking through interesting books and toys, took Ukrainian folk fairytales for home reading.
