Fruitful cooperation

Joint activity of a public library and a profile university brings mutual benefit. Belinskiy central city library has been cooperating with Kharkiv state academy of culture for a long time. 

The students of a full-time and extramural departments of Social communications department of the academy are frequent guests of the library. These are both excursions, and practicing, laboratory- practical classes on Absotheque Unicode “Laboratory- practical environment for the students”. 

Each Wednesday since the 1st of February till the 1st of March 2017 the students  were learning Corporative net of the public libraries of the city of Kharkiv and taking practical part in creation of Corporative electronic catalogue on practical classes.

The second year students of Social communications department, extramural form of education, specialization information- librarian activity, Anna Darenko and Olga Zubrenko attended an excursion and were learning program Absotheque Unicode.

Creation if an electronic catalogue of the library not only essentially accelerates and increases the qualified level of service of the users, but a;so forms and changes all the library in general. 

Future specialists in bibliology and bibliography headed by their curator Zhukova Valeriya Pavlovna, the assistant professor of the faculty of bibliology and social communications, Candidate of Science of social communications were sharing their impressions on the library, on the work done and the perspectives of the project being realized after the classes and excursions.
